| I noticed on the underside of my trailer there are several smaller openings/ cracks around pipes running through the black bottom enclosure plastic sheeting. Some of the openings are in the corners. Most all have been created by a less than tight fit of the black underside enclosure material. I was wondering what other's have used to close up these openings to help keep critters from entering and to help keep the cold out? Some of the "cracks" appear to have a black caulk type material. Anybody know what this product is?

| I used black polyurathane caulk which I found at Lowes. It has held on well for seven years.

I had to do some repair work (shower "P" trap replacement) and had some extra Belly Tape. Worked just fine and holds up to the environment well.

OOPS Sorry. Belly Tape is a superior sticky tape that is used to cover seams in the fabric under the trailer, common on both RV's and mobile homes. It is a peel & stick product that will not come loose.
Some of the under side is covered with corrugated board and some is covered with a black woven plastic fabric. Do a search on the NROA web site for Belly Tape
You may have to call around to find an RV Dealer that carries it. And, it's not cheap. But it really works.
On edit: Might find it cheaper & easier as Flexmend tape under mobile homes.

Thanks Burt, sounds like something to have in the shop. I will check with my local dealer.

| Thanks for the black polyurathane caulk and Belly Tape suggestions. Heading to Lowes today to start my search for both.

Hunters I think I had a spelling error, should be polyurethane. I had a CRS moment. Sorry. You probably would have found it anyway.
