If anyone has anything they would like to sell/give away I am going to set up a table by the rally building where you can label your items and set them for others to see. I am just going to provide the spot the rest is up to you!

See how you are shotgun......you keep poking that bear and he is not going to share any of his special medicine 
If anyone just loves to work hard I could use some able bodies(male or female I'm not picky) 8am wed morning to take turns driving stakes for the canopy. Strictly on a volunteer thing.

| Adam, If the guys at the plant finish the work sometime Tuesday I'll check in to Eagles Hot Lake that evening and get set up. If that happens, then I'll help you out Wed morning... I'll hopefully be in slot #8 by then...

Thanks guys, the ground in that area is quite rocky so it takes some effort to drive the poles in! Its been a wet spring/start of summer so this canopy is really nice to have and it also provides great shade on those sunny days! This is the same set up we used to use before Hot Lakes built the community building, anyone remember how I used to wrap it with tarps to block the chilly evening breeze?!
 Well its only 5 days away! I have everything confirmed and ready. we have 51 units signed up with a total of 100 people! You know what this means.......the potluck dinner and breakfast are going to be huge! Everyone better be ready to let out their belts!  One thing that is constant each year is no one goes home hungry!
Really looking forward to seeing the new slide show Bill has put together for us, last years was excellent and from what I am reading this years will even be better. So as they said even if you don't want to partake in the wine tasting still come to see the slide show.
I just got a confirmation call from Cathy Nowak sounds like she has quite the presentation set up for us. Sounds both informative and fun!
Then there is Shotguns Golf tournament, we will be playing for the covenant of the Golden club! Yes some lucky winner will get to take home this lovely trophy and all the bragging rights! After viewing the players sign up list OSHA had deemed hard hats must be worn during all phases of this contest and medical person will be standing by.

The Nelson's are in Montana... Bill and Mary's rv park... found a Mass truck and AF trailer... brief conversation and they are Rally bound...
Told them to watch out for Woody and Shotgun..

| Hey you two, I thought you were not leaving until the 23rd. Your early (but later then originally planed)departure must mean Betsy is recouping which is great news! Have a great trip and keep us posted. You both will be missed at the rally. As far as Woody and Shotgun are concerned with any luck they will be an endless source of entertainment!

You have no idea just how entertaining they will be! That's why we are in the back...for the late night walkers and revelers/rebels. Just remember, nice folk live/put up with them and that would be spicy Mary and I! Sadly, we've both learned to accomodate them and the troubles they bring on, so all in all, it is a good balance.
Our decoration theme may lead to some night time adventures...hmmm.. what and how could that be? Do visit and check it out, but no promises how late Mr. Shotgun will stay up...Woody however calls us all hours of the eve, so we predict he will be up late, but also late to arise!
Once again, I will try and light up the path for Mr. Shotgun to arrive home in the dark, he will be the gent you hear staggering back, singing some fun little ditties like the Scotts do...but, he hasn't figured he is not Scottish, (thank God! the German versions are worse)!.. and so the singing goes on! After all, it's all about having fun and enjoying your days out of the grind of work, live and let live!

Well, Sunday evening we arrived in LaGrande for the Rally. Thought we might be the first ones to be here, but, there was already another member all set up in the first row!!
Adam, we can help with the setup of the canopy either Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning, whenever. We will keep our eyes open for activity in that area.
Look forward to the fun events and the chance to learn more about our trailer, just ahead. And especially to having full hookups for a week. We have been dry camping since May 31!!

Well, here it is on Monday evening, and we count 5 units sitting at the campground.
Have met Kuma and Bo, earlier today, and had a nice conversation. Then we were quietly watching the late news, and enjoying the beautiful sunset, when Nickel and Pepper drove up to harass us. (met them over at the factory earlier this evening, where they are going to be tonight).
We are having a great time so far. Where is everyone else? We are waiting to meet some more people.

OK!! Now it is 6:33 pm on Tuesday evening, and we count 14 "Rally Trailers" in their sites at Eagle Hot Lake!!
The group is growing!! Have met a couple more very nice people, and look forward to talking with others shortly.

I agree with the 'Evergreen Nomads'... been a good day! Hot here, had to crank up the A/C this afternoon. Took the trailer over for some minor repair work this morning and that gave me a chance to drive out to "Buffalo Peak' and see the course... Looks like I'm gonna have to teach my golf balls how to swim Very pretty though, with lots of up and down hills... Also drove to Cove, OR and had lunch there... Neat town.
And yes... the park's filling up... have met a lot of great folks ALREADY...
