Rallen I wonder if those are the same bulbs that are in my bedside wood framed reading lights? If so, how do the bulbs come out, just screw out or do they pull out? The reason I ask is that I guess I suffer from the fat finger syndrome. I can't get enought grip on the bulb to remove it.
I have replaced six of my 1141's with TrailerLights led bulb. Very pleased with the light. We are bedtime readers and want to try the change out you have just completed.

Mine are the wooden type lights, I have two over the sofa and two over the bed. They simply pull out, but I agree, my fat fingers didn't work very good and I broke one. Used needle nose to remove the remains, then inserted the new LED's. You might have to remove the LED and flip it over as it polarity sensitive.
The LEDS are softer and easier on the eyes, and the price isn't to bad, even though I think shipping is a little high. The best thing, no heat, the LED's don't get hot, the factory incandescents get to hot to touch only after a few minutes.

I've purchased MANY different LED light bulbs from both Ledtrailerlights and superbrightleds.com , beware, some are very "yellow", or very "blue" looking. I bought some "warm white" versions, for the bathroom and they make your face look totally YELLOW! There was one model I got from ledtrailerlights.com that I wish I could find the make for, because they were perfect. Just a kind of good "white" color, similar to your flourecent tubes, but a tad warmer. He said he didn't have high enough demand for them and couldn't get them anymore....

Those bulbs are a "pull out" style. no twisting needed.
