Did the new model really get a foot longer? Where is the extra length used on the interior? The photos I see don't seem to make the table or tv shelf any larger. There are no units here in the Sacramento area for me to actually see. The 25 foot length was a big plus for me as we dry camp in state and National parks almost exclusively. Oh well!    Stiill Lookin':(

I don't know but I just compared the current specs on the 21-5R, 23-5A, 24-5N, 27-5L, and 29-5E against my 2005 brochure and the current specs are all 1' 1" to 1' 8" longer. I can't notice any difference in the floor plans.

Our 2002 25R is about 6" shorter than what is listed for later models--I didn't see any difference in the interior space either!

It could be from variations in measurement methods ie did in one year they measure from the spare tire to the very tip of the tounge, or did they only measure to the bumper or was it from the center of the ball to the end of the coach or on fifth wheels where on the front cap was the measurement made.

I know that here in Oregon, you buy your licence based on the actual length of the unit- for campers and fifth wheels it is from the farthest extension of the front to the end of the bumper or camper body. This could have had an influance on the measurements over the years.
