| Anyone know when the 2010 brochures are coming out? My dealer says they have reduced the warranty to 1 year.

We were in LaGrande a couple of weeks ago, and were told that the new 2010 brochures will be out sometime around mid-September.
We did see that on the 2010 Arctic Fox Silver Edition units, that will coming standard with a Power Patio Awning, that is way too cool!!

My dealer told me that the woodwork is going to be "Cherry" from now on instead of Oak. They had a few of the Cherry woodwork units in stock.
I'm an OAK guy, so I wasn't too fond of the new look of the Cherry. it darkens up teh interior some.

| Simple economics is the reason for the 1 year warranty.

I ended up purchasing a 2010 Nash 22H, an early production model made in May. The cabinet frames are oak and look nice, but the doors don't match and look quite a bit cheaper.
Cherry seems like more of a fad, whereas oak is timeless.

In theory if the product is good quality there wouldn't be many warranty claims and the economic impact would be negligible. The 2 year warranty was always a good selling point with me.

| I totally agree. The 2 year warranty set them apart from the rest, to get rid of it, especially now, seems crazy. Reducing a warranty never sends a real good message about your own faith in your product. It's too bad.

I saw one of the True North units and a 2010 Artic Fox 24 5N at Summer RV last weekend. The true north units are great for the intended use
Since the Nash now has filon sides and aluminum rims, the AF gets the cherry wood and automatic awning to set it apart a bit from the Nash. The 24 5N is wider and the extra width is in the hallway (well of course the entire unit, but thats where I noted the width)

My 22H doesn't have aluminum rims; wish it did.

A few years ago they all had 1 year warranties, I wonder what the other manufaturers are offering now?
AF has a good reputation, so why would they be going to 1 year?
With the delamination problems some people are having this won't make them look so good.

We just ordered an AF 25S from Thunder RV. They've got new interior colors (that are on the web now) plus the 25S comes standard with an Electric Awning and a Flat Screen TV and a built in DVD player. Oh, and a China bowl toilet is standard now too.
We're supposed to be able to pick it up in November.

Franky I'm surprised its taken til 2010 for AF to go to electric awnings (which I don't think I'd like) and china crappers, other cheaper manufacturers have had them for a few years now.
Congrats on the new trailer, we just sold our old one so the hunt is on...

The 22GQ and 22H are now Wide Body.
The dealer that I talked to (Sumner RV, WA) told me that the new trailers had a more "rounded" rear. Does anyone know what he was talking about and what it means (as far as advantages, construction, etc)? Thanks.

The radius of the roof is carried right to the back now, instead of the top rear being squared off and the filon rolled up over the top. It's hard to explain, and I'm not sure if I'm helping or hurting with that explination......(25P and 22GQ)
The AF 25P I saw had a sort of 5 spoke aluminum rims that is more current as well. The cupboard handles, light fixtures and faucets were brushed copper.
The galley counter is styled nicer, with a radius. (25P and 22GQ)
22GQ has a different shower door set up, made of glass. No shrub thingy...
The free standing table and chairs had storage under the seats and under the table top. (26X) I might add that the unit was in the sienna rust color and was drop dead beautiful, with the new cherry finish and lino.
The exterior finish was smoother and a higher gloss on the 25P and the 22GQ, not sure exactly what changed there, but there is a difference for sure.
I was told that all Arctic Fox units come standard with TV's and DVD players moving forward....
Not sure on the new Nash's - did not have any on the lot that I could see.

In Truck camper land, the interior has a new tan-ish colored wall covering. It seemed to coincide with the switch to the Cherry woodwork.

I noticed this also on the Nash 22 and 19s for 2010. I kind of like the "rolled" look on our 2009 myself.
I do wonder if one design is better than the other, or is the new design just cheaper? Or were there issues with the rolled design?
Either is better than a flat roof of course!
I do know my brother has a really cheap (but nice!) skyline layton 19 footer that has the roof line carried right out to the back like they did for 2010 at Northwood.
I would be interested in opinions on this if anyone has any knowledge on the different design merits.

Anyone with a 2010 brochure that can tell me what going to a wide body does for the weights of the 22H?
Northwood only has the 2009 brochure available for download, not the 2010. In the 2009 brochure, the GVWR is 7,500#, the dry hitch weight is 540#, the gross dry weight is 4,880# and the net carrying capacity is 2,620#. What are these numbers in the 2010 brochure?

| What size is the TV now included in the AF's? Does the size vary with model? I would be looking at either a 24-5N or 27-5L.
