First of all I would like to thank Adam and staff for setting up this vendor section. It has worked well on other forums and I'm sure it will wok well here too, however up to this point it's been all automotive forums I've been a "vendor" on because the only RV forums I have interest in didn't have a vendor program... until now!!
My addiction to LEDs is so bad, that I took over this business and have helped it grow quite a bit over the last few months, and during that time I've found alternate suppliers so I can offer better prices to you.
Since there's a few members here that have purchased from us, I figured this would be a good venue to share the products available.
Websites we have where we sell various RV and automotive products:

Here's some more food for thought with regard to shipping of orders:
For a small business, UPS doesn't offer any sort of special pricing breaks like they do for mega corporations that ship truckloads of packages every day. The rates I get are the same as if anyone else were to simply go online at UPS.com and ship a package. The other thing about UPS is the convenience factor.... it's a huge ordeal to get the packages to a UPS drop off location every day. Small businesses don't get the luxury of "free UPS pickup" like big businesses do. On the ocassions where I get a package that is over about 4lbs, then I will ship it UPS and make a point to schedule my trips around making it to a UPS drop off location.... that only happens about once or twice a month because the packages are typically small, and 3 lbs or less. For these reasons, I rarely use UPS.
I do also insure some of the orders, depending on the total cost of the order.
One example: The 10+ pack of LED interior lights is set at $6.50 for shipping. I also insure those packages, and it actually costs me more than $6.50 to ship and insure them.
The shopping cart system I use isn't very flexible in how it operates with regard to adding shipping charges. You can set a flat rate for each item, which is a joke if a person orders a bunch of different items, because then you'd get severely overcharged with shipping. The other option is a set shipping charge for a given price range for an order, which is how most of the shipping is set up for the online ordering.
The shipping amounts for given price ranges are here: http://www.ledtrailerlights.com/payment.htm#shipping
I do have a few things set up as "flat rate per item" shipping charge. I have made some adjustments to it over the last week or two on some items. The problem was that when someone would order other items (items that didn't have a flat rate shipping charge on it) then they'd get dinged with "multiple shipping charges"
The changes I made were a result of that happening to at least one member here, and I think I refunded part of the excessive shipping fee.
The shipping charges obviously pay for the shipping, and also some of the packing material I buy - although I don't buy much of it. I reuse a LOT of boxes which are obtained elsewhere.
In the end, US Postal service is a tried and true method of shipping packages due to the convenience, and the fact that Priority mail is FASTER than UPS. Many times the interior lights are light enough they can go first class. Sending a package through UPS on their 3 day service would cost 2-3 times what US Postal Service charges.
Also note that I have a different pricing structure on some items for members, so long as you order them from the correct page - the one linked from my logo at the top of the forum page, which is this one: http://www.ledtrailerlights.com/af-nash.htm The interior bulbs are set up on that page with the normal shipping as oposed to flat rate shipping) If you order the interior bulbs and get other items from the AF forum specials page, then everything factors in for shipping.
If you were to order interior bulbs from the other pages of the site, then the flat rate shipping applies, and if you order "other items" too, then you'd get dinged with multiple (excessive) shipping charges.
THe story goes like this: There's only a few items on the site that are specific to RV owners, and they are lightweight, so in some cases, the normal shipping rates were excessive.... hence the reason I set them up with flat rate shipping. BUT, once I signed on here as a vendor, I started finding more products suitable for members here and put them all on a special page, and some of the products compliment each other, which then meant "flat rate shipping" for them wasn't going to work (as I found out a week or two ago). What I mean by "products complimenting each other" would be: the LED marker lights and the ProFlex sealant.... order the lights, might as well order the sealant. And if you are "sealing things up" to get ready for the travel season, why not order a tube of Dicor sealant as well.
So, as you can see, the whole dilema of finding a "sweet spot" for shipping charges is a huge juggling act that still isn't perfected, but I've spent so much time "overthinking it" I'm not sure how to get it to a more ideal situation.
Hope my rambling makes sense with regard to shipping methods and how shipping is calculated.
