Congrats on the new truck.... you're gonna love the D/A combo.
And the backup camera is awesome too! you can hitch up to your 22H in one shot, with no help.

GRANDPA GOT A NEW TOY
NOW I HAVE TO FIGURE OUT ALL THE STUFF FROM THE OLD TRUCK THAT WILL GO BACK ON THE NEW ONE AND WHAT NEW TOYS TO BUY TOMORROW. RUNNING BOARDS WILL BE A MUST. NICE THING IS THE STANDARD BED IS THE SAME SIZE AS THE ONE ON MY 2002 GMC SIERRA 1500 EXTENDED CAB.
ALSO CAN NEVER FIGIRE OUT WHY TRUCK ACCESSORY STORES ARE CLOSE ON SUNDAYS.
AGAIN THIS POST WAS VERY GOOD AND HELP ME MAKE MY DECISION.

I was amazed that the nerf bars from my old truck fit the new one.
I've had my truck since August 30 and it just hit 1000 miles the last time I drove it.
Every once in a while I make a point to get it on the Freeway to get er good and warmed up and hope that it does it's DPF regen thing on the longer freeway runs.
It's not my daily driver and won't get used much until summer arrives.

Thank You everyone, we can wait until I can hitch up and tow. Was going to adjust the hitch today, but it is raining and I worked too many nights already.
Yesterday's venture was"
Nerf Bars (Just like the old truck)
Bed Rug ... Bed Liner
Reinstalled: Weather Guard Tool Chest
Reinstalled: Extang Tonneau Cover
Now I feel like part of my old truck is still with me.
Thanks for all the help.

Tom: Great looking truck. I know you can't wait to take the trailer for a trip. Pulling a 22H with a new Diesel truck is like haveing 500lbs in the bed. You hardly know it's there. My wife love towing our 22H.

| I would LOVE to see a Ford F250/350 with a Cummins engine. I'd buy one in a heartbeat. Been a ford guy for a long time but when I started researching diesels in 2002/2003 the 7.3 had been discountinued (big mistake) and the 6.0 was having a lot of problems. I hear that the 6.0 is better but a 5.9 Cummins in a Ford would be awesome. Throw in an Alison transmission and you couldn't stock enough of them at the dealers... just my two cents...

FYI Tow Mirrors:
I towed with my factory mirrors, very nice with all the features, heated, electric tilt down, electric adjust with memory, night time dimming, and turn signal in mirror. They are great for everything except towing. As I said earlier, I love the color of the truck and it's features, but unfortunately they did not come with Tow Mirrors.
All my towing prior to this weekend has been on two lane roads with very few lane changes. But I am towing on Hwy 50 this Memorial Day weekend and it has been very difficult to see and judge distances on the passenger side, especially with the convex mirrors. I guess I am so use to my tow mirrors on my prior truck.
I just order these new mirrors from: http://www.rpru.com/products/showitem.php?id=13763.
They are the OEM equipment and comes with a chrome covers, which can be also ordered for factory tow mirrors. The dealer said, since I purchase the truck from them, they would sell the mirrors to me for $505.00 plus sales tax.
Only draw back on the new mirrors:
Do not have tilt down in reverse: No biggy, I need to turn that feature off most of the time when backing the trailer.
Do not have electric tilt in: No Biggy
Do not have dimming feature for night driving: No biggy, I need to turn that feature off most of the time when backing the trailer.
I ordered the same ones online with no shipping and no sales tax, (great for those living in California), for $469.95, including the chrome covers that were not included in the dealer price.
Shipping time is 3 to 6 working days. So they should be here in time for my trip to Washington and the La Grande Rally.

| Buy the truck you like and don't worry about it. I don't bash other truck owners as they like theirs and I like mine.
